The range runs from a 40 tonne starter press to twin 80 tonne machines, with pan mixers, pre-feed systems and handling equipment available alongside. Machines are delivered and commissioned at site.

Q Green Techcon builds hydraulic fly ash brick making machines and supplies them to producers in Hyderabad and across Telangana. The models below are the standard machines in the range, each sized by the output a plant needs per shift. The quoted figures assume a standard brick size, so the number changes when the brick dimensions change.

Machines in the range

QGH Smart. The first machine in the range, for producers planning 10,000 to 12,000 bricks per shift. It has a 40 tonne hydraulic pressing capacity, produces 3 bricks per stroke and runs at 6 cycles per minute, on a pallet of 450 mm x 300 mm x 18 mm. A pre-feed system and a 300 kg pan mixer are available as options.

QGH 14. One of the builder series machines, suited to 14,000 to 15,000 bricks per shift. It has a 50 tonne hydraulic pressing capacity, 4 bricks per stroke and 6 cycles per minute, on a pallet of 600 mm x 300 mm x 18 mm, with the same optional pre-feed and mixing equipment.

QGH 17. The other builder series machine, for 16,000 to 17,000 bricks per shift. Its specification follows the QGH 14: 50 tonne pressing capacity, 4 bricks per stroke and a 600 mm x 300 mm x 18 mm pallet, running at 7 cycles per minute.

QGH 25. For plants working at 15,000 to 20,000 bricks per shift. It has an 80 tonne hydraulic pressing capacity, produces 6 bricks per stroke and runs at 7 cycles per minute, on a pallet of 800 mm x 300 mm x 18 mm.

QGH 25A Twin. A twin press machine for 23,000 to 24,000 bricks per shift. Two 80 tonne presses together produce 12 bricks per stroke at 7 cycles per minute, on an 800 mm x 300 mm x 18 mm pallet.

Output per shift varies with the brick dimensions. A larger brick means fewer pieces per stroke and a lower figure per shift, so the machine is best chosen against the sizes a plant actually plans to sell rather than the headline number.

Why fly ash bricks suit the Hyderabad market

Hyderabad has been building steadily for years, across housing, commercial development and the infrastructure that goes with them. Demand of that kind rewards a walling product that arrives to a repeatable size. A pressed brick holds its dimensions, with straight edges and flat faces, so masonry goes up faster, plaster consumption falls and breakage in handling is lower than with hand moulded clay bricks.

The raw material side works in the product favour too. Fly ash from thermal power generation in the region is used instead of topsoil, and the bricks are cured rather than fired, so a plant needs no kiln and no firing fuel. For a producer setting up near the city, that means a shorter route from raw material to saleable stock.
